Marrakech, pasad rápido por aquí
Retorno del sueño. Dejamos Arfoud y la ruta por Ouarzazate, estudios de cine incluidos, nos lleva de nuevo a la cumbre del Tizi N’Tichka, mucho más liviana por su cara oriental.
Inevitablemente los muchos kilómetros de bajada hacia Marrakech traen a mi mente las agrestes carreteras canarias pero también la nostalgia de la belleza a perder, al amparo de una supuesta civilización desmesurada y caminante, con alta probabilidad, en sentido erróneo.
Como ya esperaba, en la gran ciudad se palpa ineludiblemente de ese otro Marruecos aunque también y sin duda de hipnótico continente e inolvidable contenido. Andaluces de alma o de vivencia, los Jardines de la Menara, la Kotubia, las Tumbas Saadianas o el Palacio de Bahia nos llevan a rememorar puntualmente otros tantos espacios de la bella Andalucía. No así la plaza Jemma El Fna, el zoco o la medina, ambientes únicos en su expresividad.
Quizá los mercaderes de otra época no hubieran bautizado a Marrakech son ese nombre si la máquina del tiempo les hubiera permitido anticipar su belleza y su grandiosa hospitalidad. Y nosotros volveremos.
